Cyber-SHIP Lab mission and capabilities showcase preview
Featuring realistic cyber attack scenarios, exploring the physical, economic and human challenges and consequences around cyber incidents threatening increasingly convergent information and operational technology on-board ships and evermore connected Smart Ports.
Join our researchers and expert speakers from the Society of Maritime Industries, techUK, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMarEST), for this unique online event:
Led by Cyber-SHIP Lab’s Principal Investigator, Professor Kevin Jones, and Academic Lead, Dr Kimberly Tam, the 90-minute event begins with a mission and capabilities briefing on this unique Research England and Industry-funded maritime cyber threat resilience project.
Professor Jones will go on to present a maritime cyber attack scenario based on real events and realistic risks. Guest speakers will respond, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities from each of their organisations’ perspectives.
The event culminates with 30 minutes of audience Q&A, with in-advance and in-event questions audience-ranked in real time to ensure priority for the most pressing issues. Panellists will address unique questions not answered live in a post event follow-up.
