The UKHO will be running a series of Innovation Challenges with the goal to accelerate innovative projects across specific sectors. As an innovator in the Autonomous Shipping sector we want to invite industry experts to apply to our latest challenge entitled identifying, trialling and proving how navigational data can be used to support the safe navigation of Marine Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS).
Successful applicants will get an opportunity to develop their solutions alongside leading experts at the UK Hydrographic Office, with winners receiving prizes worth £175,000 and an opportunity to launch their product in a sector estimated to be worth £111bn by 2030.
