Shape the future of hydrogen in clean aerospace and aviation

Join GW-SHIFT for a full-day, in-person workshop exploring what it will take to build a world-class hydrogen ecosystem for clean aviation and aerospace across South West England and South Wales.

The region already has a strong foundation, including world-leading aerospace and aviation manufacturers, advanced materials research, and growing hydrogen capabilities. This workshop is built to bring those strengths together, identify key gaps, and develop the cross-sector partnerships needed to accelerate low-carbon solutions.

Can AI take the guesswork out of hydrogen supply chains?

Join GW-SHIFT for a free online webinar examining how AI-driven tools can transform planning and decision-making across hydrogen supply chains.

As the hydrogen economy grows, so does the complexity of the systems that support it. Supply chains now span production, storage, distribution, and end-use across multiple stakeholders, making planning and investment decisions increasingly technical.

Delivered by Dr Shuya Zhong and Professor Mi Tian from the University of Bath, this session will centre around HyChain, a platform developed by the duo to help organisations model hydrogen networks and evaluate technology options. Following support through a SPRINT research project, the platform is now being enhanced with a generative AI guidance layer designed to turn complex inputs and outputs into clear, actionable business insights.

Whether you’re a hydrogen developer, infrastructure planner, researcher, or investor, this session will demonstrate how AI-driven tools can support faster, clearer, and lower-risk supply chain decisions.
