MUKSW Skills, Careers and Diversity Business Meeting, 3-4.30, 10th Feb

Maritime UK South West is set to deliver a Skills, Careers and Diversity program to help increase the supply of talent into the sector. We intend to make access to training easier for business, make it easier for schools and careers professionals to access promotional collateral on the sector and also deliver a program of marketing to change perceptions and introduce opportunities in the sector.

As part of this work we would like to establish a business peer to peer network. This is the first meeting of the network.

The agenda will cover:

1. What the new project will cover and how businesses can get involved and benefit.
2. Ask of business –  what are your key issues and where are there opportunities if we can act together (or as actions that MUKSW should carry out on your behalf)?
3. News from the National Shipbuilding Office Skills Delivery Group.

The meeting is designed for HR leads and hiring professional or for senior management in smaller companies and is open to all businesses or those with an interest in the skills, careers and diversity agenda.
