The South West Aquaculture Network (SWAN), part of MUKSW, aims to sustainably enhance aquaculture production in line with the evolving national aquaculture strategy and international development goals. SWAN is comprised of diverse members representing industry, academia and public sector organisations, providing distinct capabilities including:
- unique aquaculture facilities,
- technical and operational knowledge
- research and innovation development
- partnerships and engagements.
Membership currently stands at 110.
SWAN is holding its first AGM and conference on Thursday 28th October 2021, 0845 to 1630 at Kingston Maurward College, near Dorchester DT2 8PL. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are within a full and varied agenda with a welcome and key note address, presentations, soapbox and panel session focusing on One Health and Market Place for networking with its own dedicated timeframe within the day.
